Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi in Khuda Gawah sequel?

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi may unite again on screen for the sequel of their 1992 hit film Khuda Gawah. “The script is being written for the sequel. It (film) was one of the most loved films and we thought of bringing it back. We have given a one liner brief idea to Mr Bachchan. We have got a positive feedback from him. Once the script is complete we will meet him again and approach him for this film,” producer Manoj Desai said. There will be other actors also in the film from the younger generation,” he said. The original, produced by Desai, was about an Afghan lord caught between love and revenge. “We are working on the script so we can’t reveal about the story line,” he said. Shot in India and Afghanistan, Khuda Gawah was one of the biggest grossers of 1992 in both the countries. The sequel is likely to go on floors next year. Both the stars were last seen together in Gauri Shinde’s English Vinglish. PTI
