Amitabh Bachchan may appear in the Hindi remake of Robin William's film License to Wed

As Amitabh Bachchan turns a year older today, on his 75th birthday, he's still signing exciting projects 48 years since debut film Saat Hindustani. The actor will reportedly be seen in the role that Robin Williams had played in the 2007 Hollywood romcom, License To Wed in the film's Hindi remake, reports DNA.

According to the film's synopsis, License to Wed revolves around a reverend (Williams) who puts an engaged couple (played by Mandy Moore and John Krasinski) through a grueling marriage preparation course to see if they are meant to be married in his church.

The DNA report suggests that Warner Bros, who had distributed the original Hollywood flick, is reportedly planning to produce a Hindi version. The report also adds that the mammoth production house has even found a director for the Hindi remake.

A report by Bollywood Life says that Bachchan Sr is on a roll. He has reportedly just finished shooting for 102 Not Out, that will feature him as a 102-year old father to Rishi Kapoor. The Paa actor is currently busy shooting for Yash Raj Films' Thugs Of Hindostan with Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh as his co- stars.

Post that, he will be seen in Sairat director's first Bollywood film reportedly titled Jhund.  The film is the biopic of Pune-based retired school teacher, Vijay Barse who initiated the Slum Soccer programme that trains slum children in football.
