Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s Saiyaara is currently shattering records at the box office. While fans are praising the performances of the debutants, the male protagonist’s short film with uncle and actor Chunky Panday has resurfaced on social media.
The 2016 short film on YouTube titled Fifty, directed by Manav Chauhan, features Ahaan Panday as a schoolboy who quits smoking and uses the money to educate a street child. And years later, that street child, who is a grown-up man, returns the kindness by financing the cancer treatment of an old man (Chunky Panday), who was that school boy once.
The emotional short film, which was shared on Reddit with the caption, “It’s a nice short film with a good social message, popped up in my recommendations after I’ve been listening to saiyaara songs," grabbed netizens’ attention and they lauded Ahaan’s performance in Fifty.
“Even here Ahaan was dripping with the x factor, and he improved his acting even more than this already decent performance. That alone shows he is here to stay, doing better and better with each work with his passion and humility. He is going to give sleepless nights to half of bollywood with his presence, that’s for sure, now and forever," commented one netizen.
“We can see he’s worked on himself and he has that passion to actually stay here. Bro is Bollywood paglu," wrote another user.
“Now that’s how you use your privilege to prepare yourself and become better and better! He never took his privilege for granted! Ahaan Pandey is truly here to shine!" wrote on fan in the YouTube comment section.
“Watching this after saiyaara..this guy Ahaan is born to be a actor for sure ,lambi race ka ghoda," wrote another.
