Amid India’s Got Latent controversy, YouTuber and comedian Tanmay Bhat’s X (Twitter) account was hacked last night. In the now deleted post on X, the account spoke about memes and Solana—a blockchain platform known for its SOL tokens.

“I love memes and Solana so I figured it was time for me to drop my own coin. Dev supply will be locked momentarily, I will be using YouTube revenue from streams and videos to support the coin and implementing it into my content," read the now-deleted post.

Soon, Bhat took to Instagram and shared the news about his account being hacked. “My Twitter has been hacked. Please don’t click on any links. Working to fix it," he wrote on his Instagram Story.

In 2020, popular personalities like Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian’s X account were compromised in the Bitcoin scam.

The YouTuber was in the headlines when his old video of trolling Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps went viral on social media. In the clip, he said, “I have been hearing that for eight years, dude. Why do you keep doing this bullsht? Just accept that you are a capitalistic person who wants views. Spiritualism and all is bullshit.”
