Duchess of Sussex’s Hollywood career is in doldrums. According to Times report, her overall success in Hollywood after leaving the Royal Family in 2020 has come into question after a series of failed attempts.
As per reports published in Express, Tom Sykes, European editor for The Daily Beast, has reported that Hollywood has turned its back on the duchess after the “rumours that some power players in Hollywood who were formerly enamoured of the couple will no longer take Meghan’s calls personally”
Her last success was the Netflix’s Harry & Meghan ’s docuseries. The show did well on Netflix, but it kind of doomed Meghan’s career in Bollywood. Nobody likes washing dirty linen in public. Archetypes podcast series was cancelled last year after the duchess only made 12 episodes for it. Meanwhile, her upcoming cooking show on Netflix is nowhere to be seen, even though filming had finished for it in the summer, while her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, whose launch is meant to coincide with the Netflix show, is “mired in bureaucratic difficulties with the US trademarks office”.
Netflix documentary on Polo has both Harry and Meghan which will release on December 10. Harry and Meghan are the producers and the trailer has not been liked by many. Netflix executives are not happy that the documentary is on Argentinian player Ignacio Nacho Figurea and not Harry.
