The American singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have confirmed their dating rumours as the duo were spotted sharing a kiss aboard her yacht in Santa Barbara, California.
The pictures of their cosy moment have gone viral on social media, according to a Daily Mail report. The images show Katy in a one-piece swimsuit on the deck, and Justin wearing a pair of jeans.
On Perry’s 24-metre yacht, the Caravelle, the couple is seen cuddling and embracing each other in one of the pictures. In another, Trudeau is seen kissing Katy’s cheek.
The rumoured pair was spotted together in July when they were walking a dog before stepping out for a meal together at Montreal’s Le Violon, which is a month after Katy ended her engagement with Orlando Bloom. The singer had announced her split at that time, with whom she has a 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom. The duo continue to co-parent their daughter, who was born in August 2020.
On the other hand, Justin separated from his wife Sophie Grégoire after 18 years of marriage in 2023. The ex-couple has three children, sons Xavier, 17, and Hadrien, 11, and daughter Ella-Grace, 16.
A witness quoted to Daily Mail, said, “She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out,” adding, “I didn’t realize who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm, and I immediately realized it was Justin Trudeau.”
The political personality stepped down after being the PM of Canada for a decade earlier this year.
