American Gods Season 2 sneak peek sees Mr World, Technical Boy looking for New Media

The official Twitter account of American Gods released a three-and-a-half minute video clip from the second season of the series on 30 December. 2018.

The sneak peek of the opening scene takes off from where the first season ended, and shows two “new gods”, Mr World, (played by Crispin Glover) the god of globalisation, asking the Technical Boy (Bruce Langley), the god of technology, to find New Media. Kahyun Kim will step into the shoes of goddess Media, replacing Gillian Anderson from the first season. The video, however, does not shed light on Shadow Moon and Mr Wednesday. The first instalment of the fantasy drama saw Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) meeting a strange man named Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) after being released from prison, and soon becomes embroiled in a large-scale conflict between the Old Gods and the New Gods, who grow stronger each day. It is based on Neil Gaiman’s novel of the same name, and has been developed by Bryan Fuller and Michael Green for the cable network Starz. American Gods season 2 will premiere on 10 March 2019 on Starz in the US.
