Amazon ropes in Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman for upcoming series Good Omens
Parks and Recreation alum Nick Offerman has boarded the cast of Good Omens. The Amazon Prime Video series is an adaptation of the Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman book of the same name. Offerman, 47, will play the role of a US Ambassador and father to Warlock, the child mistaken for the Antichrist.
The six-part series will also star Michael Sheen, David Tennant, Jon Hamm, and Miranda Richardson, Variety reported. The series follows the angel Aziraphale (Sheen) and the demon Crowley (Tennant), who dread the Apocalypse and Final Judgement visible on the horizon. Gaiman wrote the six-part series, which Douglas Mackinnon is directing.
The show is scheduled to hit Amazon worldwide next year.
