Having made their debut in Bollywood at the same time, actors Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt reportedly dated each other for a brief period during the 2016 film Kapoor & Sons. While neither of them ever confirmed their relationship, their equation didn’t go unnoticed. However, having now called it quits, the two have moved on in their lives with their respective partners and are happily married. That being said, the former couple seemingly have no bad vibes between them and this was even more evident in the latest episode of Koffee with Karan . While Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, the OG students arrived as guests on the popular chat show, Alia Bhatt also made a surprise entry and spoke about Sidharth. Surprised? There is a catch! Alia, who was featured in the last episode with sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan, made an appearance through a video message. She gave special messages to her Student of the Year co-stars. While talking about her equation with her first co-actors, the actress was all praise for Sidharth, briefly confirming that her pet cat Edward is indeed a gift from the actor.
Alia began by describing Sidharth Malhotra as a person as she called her a “really good singer.” “He is a very healthy person, so he doesn’t party at all, but he is one of the best people to get a party started, so this is the inherent Punjabi in him. He just knows how to get people going. The third part is really hilarious as he is the first person to fall asleep at his own birthday party. Sid takes a while to open up, so there is a distance, says hi and hello, very chivalrous, very well-mannered, that’s generally how he is. The basic thing is that he has got very warm and kind eyes,” she said further expressing her gratitude as she added, " I am very thankful to Sid because he has given me my first love of my life, Edward."
Apart from that, Alia also went on to reveal a few surprising things about friend and co-actor Varun Dhawan . “No matter where we are in life, there’ll be a certain pride in each other’s journey whenever three of us see each other,” she concluded.
