Akshay recently Instagrammed a picture with Dum Laga Ke Haisha actress Bhumi Pednekar. The photo has Bhumi Pednekar dressed as a newly wed and a moustached Akshay Kumar taking a selfie with an Indian-style toilet. The still signals the beginning of the shoot for their offbeat romantic film Toilet — Ek Prem Katha. He captioned it as, “A very good morning from Bhumi and me from the sets of Toilet — Ek Prem Katha! First day it is…need your best wishes #TEPK”.The film is being shot in Mathura,Uttar Pradesh. The actor also tweeted that he received a gift from an adoring fan on the first day of his shoot in Mathura. The gift was a copy of the Bhagvad Gita. The Jolly LLB 2 actor tweeted, “Couldn’t have asked for a better start to the day. Landed in Mathura & got gifted this precious Bhagvad Gita on day 1 by a passerby! #blessed.”
The actor already has the blessing of box-office successes, with his three consecutive films, Airlift, Housefull 3 and Rustom crossing the 100-crore mark in 2015 and 2016 .
