Akshara Haasan to make digital debut with Aditya Datt's Good Bye Girl, based on Sheeja Jose's book

Akshara Haasan will be seen in a web series which is an adaptation of Sheeja Jose's book Good Bye Girl. She is gearing up for her digital debut which is being directed by filmmaker Aditya Datt.

Good Bye Girl is a story of a young girl and her struggle to get justice in life after being severely wronged by people.

The Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Table No 21 director has got Sohail Maklai and Girish Johar as the producers of the project. Akshara will be seen in a never-seen-before look and will be taking up several training sessions for her role. The web series will be filmed in various parts of Delhi and Bangkok.

Malkai claims that the web series is going to attract a lot of attention and eyeballs and the content will be so intriguing that it will not only cater to the Indian youth but it will also be a must watch for global audiences. Along with this content-driven web series, Sohail Malkai will also be venturing into films and web series of various genres catering to audiences of all ages and will be announcing his movie slate soon in April.

Earlier this year, Kamal Haasan also announced a project with Akshara which will be produced by the actor. The film will have Akshara as the female lead opposite Vikram.
