A day after sharing the spine-chilling and menacing look of R Madhavan’s character from the supernatural-thriller film, makers have finally announced the trailer release date of Shaitaan. The trailer of Vikas Bahl’s upcoming Bollywood film Shaitaan will be out on Thursday, 22 February.
Sharing an interesting poster by putting ‘good vs evil’ with Ajay Devgan and R Madhavan’s characters, the makers announced the trailer release date on Tuesday with a caption that reads, “Jald hi shuru hogi good v/s evil ki asli jung! #ShaitaanTrailer coming out tomorrow. Taking over cinemas on 8th March 2024.”
Notably, Shaitaan is one of the most highly anticipated films this year. While Ajay Devgn’s first look poster with his character was revealed on Monday, 19 February, fans were taken aback surprise by Madhavan’s character reveal.
The devilish smile on his face and the blue eyes clearly speak volumes of his character, leaving fans more excited to see more of him in this never-seen avatar.
Shaitaan Teaser
The teaser of Vikas Bahl-directed Shaitaan was recently unveiled, showing Ajay Devgn and Jyotika’s characters being scared of R Madhavan’s evil intentions.
The one-minute-plus teaser begins with a spooky voice-over by Madhavan, describing how he manages to lure unsuspecting humans. “They say the world is deaf. And yet, they follow every word of mine. I am the darkness, and temptation, from sinister prayers to forbidden spells, I rule the nine circles of hell. I am the poison and cure both. I am a silent witness to everything endured. I am the night, twilight, I am the universe. I create, sustain, destroy, so beware. They say that I spare no one. There’s a game…do you want to play? It has only one rule, no matter what I say, you must not be tempted,” he says in Hindi.
Further, the teaser also has glimpses of voodoo dolls and other paraphernalia, dropping hints of black magic. Madhavan’s menacing smile at the end is unmissable. The film will hit theatres on 8 March 2024.
