Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's net-worth rises to Rs 900 crore, is now the second-richest actress in the country

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was crowned Miss World in 1994 and made her acting debut with Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar in 1997, and in the same year, she starred in Rahul Rawail’s Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. She has given massive hits in her career like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, Dhoom 2, Guru, and Robot.

There came a time when her films were not doing well and she delivered duds like Albela, Hum Kisise Kum Nahin, Dil Ka Rishta, Kuch Na Kaho, Kyun Ho Gaya Na, Fanney Khan, and Jazbaa. However, as per a report by Siasat, she is now the second richest actress in the country with a net-worth of Rs 900 crore.

Rai charges Rs 10 crore per film and Rs 6-7 crore for her brand endorsements.

On the other hand, actor and her husband  Abhishek Bachchan has a reported net worth of $ 250 million, and charges in the range of Rs 5-10 crore per film.

Rai Bachchan is a global icon but as per a report by DNA, she refused Mr and Mrs Smith opposite Brad Pitt and Hancock with Will Smith due to kissing and intimate scenes, which she was uncomfortable with.

While none of the Bachchan family members wished Ash on her 51st birthday, an old tweet of Big B recently went viral on Reddit, where the megastar not only thanked fans for their warm wishes for her daughter-in-law but also shared glimpses into how the family celebrated the big day.

The tweet of Big B from 2010 read, “T172 -First things first … thank you all for wishing Aishwarya on her birthday !! Have passed it on to her.. she thanks all … love."
