Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao's age gap will be a talking point in Fanney Khan

What’s the big deal with age? It depends on who you ask. The roaringly successful, 50-something leading men of Bollywood will scoff at the idea that age matters — but the women? They can possibly tell you the importance of age, for an actress in Bollywood, far better. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan, is said to be dealing with the same theme and the makers have recently announced that they will be dealing with the issue in the film as well, reports DNA. The debutant director Atul Manjrekar, in his upcoming film Fanney Khan, has paired Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opposite Rao, who is 10 years younger than her. AFP Image.[/caption] Speaking to DNA, a source from the film said that they want to specifically talk about the age gap in the film because the thought of the age gap will be crossing the audience’s mind while watching the film as well. “Should the age difference not be mentioned at all? In real life, as well as in films, there are so many pairs where the woman is older than the man. At the same time, the audience will notice and wonder about the age difference. So, we will add a few lines justifying the age difference, though Aishwarya and Raj are very well-matched," says the source. Anil Kapoor plays the title role as Fanney Khan, along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, it also stars versatile actor Divya Dutta. Revealing Kapoor’s look for the film, the production house recently had shared a Tweet that read, “50 shades of black & grey for @anilskapoor as #FanneyKhan.
