All India Bakchod (AIB) are easily one of the famous comedy groups in India presently. From the infamous AIB Roast (officially called the Knockout) earlier this year to satirical videos that trend on our timelines, the funnymen know how to hit the nail on the head and leave you laughing. Screengrab from YouTube[/caption] Now, they have taken it one step further, by finding a larger canvas for their jokes. A couple of days before the premier of their new show On Air With AIB, they have put up giant billboards in Mumbai promoting it. And these hoardings will seem awfully familiar for any Indian. The posters are a clever parody of the typical WordArt-overloaded hoardings that are used by politicians for a range of functions ranging from wishing other leaders on their birthdays to greeting their supporters on festivals. One of the AIB posters shows Gursimran Khamba standing with his hands folded. The accompanying text in Marathi reads: ‘Ma Shri Gursimran Khamba yaanchi hotstar chya navin show madhey nivad zhalyabadal hardik abhinandan’ (Congrats to Respected Shri Gursimran Khamba on him being selected show for a new show on Hotstar) But the icing on the cake here are the hilarious one liners around the hoarding. From ‘Saglya poryancha daava hai, Khamba bhau chaava hai’ (Every girl says that brother Khama is a stud) to ‘Khambhachi height, vatavaran tight’ (Khamba’s height makes surroundings tight) Another poster features Ashish Shakya and while we were unable to read the text, we are sure it was just as ‘pun-ny’. Here’s the poster featuring Khamba:

The post has, not surprisingly, gone viral already and AIB has asked people to spot the various hoardings they’ve got across Mumbai.
