After The Chainsmokers, Neeta Lulla to design ensembles for Indo-American DJ KSHMR's India tour
Designer Neeta Lulla all set to design for Indo-American DJ KSHMR during his India tour which started on 20 October in Delhi
Mumbai: Designer Neeta Lulla, who earlier designed for Grammy winning record producers The Chainsmokers, is now on board to design for Indo-American DJ and record producer KSHMR.
DJ KSHMR, whose real name is Niles Hollowell-Dhar, started his tour across India starting from 20 October.
"I have always been quite fascinated by Indian sensibilities when it comes to fashion and style, and I'm excited to see what Neeta has in store for me," KSHMR said in a statement.
Promoted by Percept Live, after performing in New Delhi, KSHMR will be performing in Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
"KSHMR is known to love his kurtas so we have tried to experiment with the style, fabric and design and make a Diwali friendly kurta. The exotic vibe of Kashmir and the aesthetic history of paisley is all the inspiration we needed to design for the very talented Indo American DJ KSHMR," Lulla said.
The National Award winning designer says the design on the kurta will be rather subtle with an Indian touch with "astute details in the embroidery".
"Given the history of KSHMR and his love for Kashmir, the versatile paisleys seemed very apt to reflect our Indian heritage and the intricacy of our craftsmanship. KSHMR has been very experimental with his music and we thought of doing the same with his outfit.
"We have also curated one more kurta where we have embroidered the KSHMR logo in ruby red jewels which he can wear when he performs on stage. The materials used are silk and cotton blend giving it a rich feel," Lulla added.
Lulla has also designed for international celebrities like Steven Seagal and Tyra Banks apart from designing for Bollywood stalwarts like Kangana Ranaut, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Rajnikanth, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan among others.
The amendments of Hong Kong's Film Censorship Authority will determine whether a film contains elements that endanger national security.
Over 10 Tollywood personalities have been summoned for investigation in a high-end drugs racket that was busted in Hyderabad in 2017
Kangana Ranaut will play Sita in The Incarnation, which will be directed by Alaukik Desai.
