Actress Trisha Krishnan has been making a lot of headlines amid her relationship rumours with Thalapathy Vijay. The two made an appearance together at a wedding recently and ever since then, the speculations and conjectures refuse to die down and they are yet comment on the matter. However, actor and filmmaker R Parthiban recently shared some comments which didn’t go down really well.
Fresh dig at Trisha Krishnan
“I am sharing the single video recording in two parts due to the length, not to split anything else (anyone). I understand, as I share my self-explanation, there will be side effects taking centrestage indecently. But I am not going to speak about this hereafter. Only concluding this is good for us. Thank you,” he wrote the post in Tamil.
The controversy comes amid renewed attention on Trisha following her recent public appearance with actor-politician Vijay, which had already fuelled speculation on social media.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Trisha shared a pointed message without naming anyone directly but clearly addressing remarks made about her at a recent event.
She wrote, “I was informed by the organisers of a recent event that my name and picture were included at the last minute at the request of an individual conveyed through his assistant.”
She added, “A microphone doesn’t make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder. Crude words without knowledge say more about the speaker than the person they’re aimed at.”
The controversy began when Parthiban was asked about actors he had previously worked with during an awards ceremony in Chennai.
When a photo of Trisha appeared on screen, he reportedly referenced her popular “Kundavai” character from Ponniyin Selvan and joked that “it is better to ask this Kundavai to sit at home for a while.”
