Salman Khan’s Sultan made a great impact on the box office and has almost touched
Rs 300 crores
, breaking many records. But news reports would have us believe that not only has it created ripples at the box office — but also in another Khan’s film. Reports suggest that Aamir Khan, who is currently working on his upcoming film Dangal, has asked for last-minute changes in the film’s script after seeing the success of Sultan. similar theme with Sultan
was worrying him as the audience might see Dangal as another wrestler film. Dangal was supposed to focus on women wrestlers in the ring. But after Anushka Sharma played a similar role in Sultan, Aamir seems to have changed his mind. To set the film apart from Salman’s, Aamir has now decided to shift the focus onto the father-daughter relationship in the film. Well Sultan had a little bit of that as well. However, setting the two films apart is the fact that while Sultan portrayed a fictional story, Dangal is based on real life. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is set to release on 23 December this year.
