Aamir Khan campaigns for the girl child yet again, with his latest commercial

Aamir Khan fights for the girl child yet again, with this latest TVC for Star Plus's #NayiSoch campaign. The actor first contributed to the cause with his 2016 blockbuster Dangal, the biopic in which he played Mahavir Singh Phogat - the man behind Olympians Geeta Kumari Phogat and Babita Kumari Phogat. Now, Khan continues to lay emphasis on taking pride of a girl child and the importance of their contribution to the society with this social message.

The actor has been sporting this new look for quite some time now, with wide speculations about the project. Finally, Khan revealed on Saturday night the reason behind the hype.

Remember 'Gold to gold hota hai…chhora lave ya chhori' from Dangal? Much like the biopic, Khan takes forward the message "Bete nahi ji, betiya" in this one as well.

Captioned as 'Shooon Te Shaaan', this latest video is a thoughtful throwback from Khan to his Dangal character and the purpose of it. While in Dangal, Mahavir Singh Phogat fights till the very end to make his girls world champions in a sport dominated by men, Khan here is endorsing 'Gurudeep Singh & Daughters' as a welcome change to break away from the many notions that society has against the girl child.
