A rare move in Hindi cinema: Makers of 120 Bahadur announce early paid previews on 18th November, honouring the Rezang La heroes

In an unprecedented move, Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios are rolling out select paid previews across the country on 18th November for 120 Bahadur, to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of the historic Battle of Rezang La fought in 1962.

With this, 120 Bahadur becomes one of the rare Hindi films to offer paid previews three days before the release of the film, ahead of its nationwide opening on 21st November. This bold and disruptive marketing approach not only honours the courage of the 120 soldiers of Rezang La, but also reflects the immense confidence the makers have in the film and the power of early audience word-of-mouth.

This strategy is designed to be both a tribute and a test of conviction — giving audiences the first opportunity to experience the film’s emotion and scale, and letting their reactions lead the conversation in the days leading up to release.

Paid Previews: only on 18 November (Rezang La Day)
Nationwide Release: 21 November
Bookings will open this afternoon with 30+ shows across country

120 Bahadur recounts the extraordinary courage of 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought in the legendary Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 war. Farhan Akhtar plays the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, who, along with his men, stood against all odds in one of the most defining battles of Indian military history. At its heart, one unwavering line echoes through the film: “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge.”

Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), the film is an Excel Entertainment production and releases in cinemas on 21st November 2025.
