A Gentleman new song 'Disco Disco' starring Sidharth, Jacqueline recreates music of the 80s

Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez’s upcoming film _A Genlteman's_ trailer was entertaining even though the plot seemed a bit hackneyed. A new song from the film called ‘Disco Disco’ has been released and the lead actors have again managed to infuse life into an otherwise ordinary song. The song has been composed by musical duo Sachin-Jigar. Benny Dayal and Shirley Setia have lent their voice to the song. Even with such a stellar musical combination, the song is nice to look at, but it sounds just like another Bollywood party song. Image from Twitter.[/caption] Malhotra and Fernandez have grooved to the best of their ability and it shows. The screen instantly brightens up when the two start swinging in synchronised moves. Both the lead actors look dashing - Malhotra rocks the bell bottoms and Fernandez is charming as ever. They are able to transport you to the disco era through their practiced moves. Do not get us wrong - the music is not bad at all, but it is not great either and coming from Sachin Jigar, it is a bit of a disappointment since the duo have belted out super-hits like ‘Jee Karda’, ‘Gulabi’, ‘Sun Saathiya’ among others. The song tries to recreate the disco wave that hit India in the early 80s. However, the music, so to speak, does not have the same effect as the songs produced in the bygone days. Visually, the song is a treat. The film releases on 25 august, 2017. Watch the song here:
