After being dropped out of a Sultan song, Arijit Singh has now faced the same fate for a song in Tiger Shroff’s upcoming film A Flying Jatt, where Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has replaced him for a song. A Mid-Day report quotes a source, “The makers liked Atif’s version and have given a thumbs-up to them. The singer has been paid close to Rs 35 lakh for the song, which will be unveiled a fortnight later. He has also sung a promotional track in the film; that will be out soon.” [caption id=“attachment_2920600” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Arijit Singh and Atif Aslam.[/caption] Reports suggest that the Tum Hi Ho singer, was roped in for a background track in the film, but after the makers felt that his voice wasn’t suiting the song it was eventually given to Atif Aslam. Sachin-Jigar, the music composer duo, however, have refuted these reports saying that Arijit was never a part of the album. Not too long back, Arijit Singh was in news, when Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s version of Jag Ghoomeya was chosen over his for Salman Khan-starrer Sultan. The Remo D’souza super-hero film, also starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Amrita Singh, will release on 25 August.
