Academy Awards 2015 to be held on 22 February

Los Angeles: The 87th annual Academy Awards will be held on February 22 at the Dolby Theatre here. [caption id=“attachment_1486783” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] AFP[/caption] The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has revealed that nominees will be announced on 15  January and voting for which will begin on 29 December, 2014 and end on 8 January, 2015. No host has been announced yet for the Hollywood’s biggest night. This year’s host Ellen DeGeneres made headlines during the telecast for ordering a pizza for the nominees and taking a star-studded selfie that broke social media records. The very first Academy Awards were held in 1929 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. PTI
