3rd trailer of Man of Steel out: Check out Superman's super makeover

The legacy of Christopher Reeve seems to be safe with Henry Cavill, who is reprising the role of the lone survivor from Krypton on Earth, Superman, in Zack Snyder’s upcoming film Man Of Steel. [caption id=“attachment_705482” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Courtesy: A screengrab of the youtube trailer.[/caption] The third and the longest trailer of Synder’s film is out and it gives us a glimpse of Cavill clad in the famous red cape. It also features Amy Adams as Lois Lane. The film seems to be one of the most majestic Superman films made yet, with Cavill taking the superhero to a whole new level while trying to incorporate intensity along with grittiness in the character. As a director, Christopher Nolan transformed Batman into a brooding, tortured hero and sucked all the corny humour that characterised Batman’s adventures in the comic series. Now as producer, he’s all set to give DC Comics’ Superman a makeover. Directed by Zak Snyder (300, The Watchmen), Man of Steel hopes to distract us from the fact that wearing red underpants on blue tights is patently ridiculous with the following: The inclusion of lots of gravelly-voiced men in the cast. Making the scrumptious Henry Cavill go shirtless at regular intervals. Some stellar battle sequences and special effects. A soaring soundtrack by Hans Zimmer.
