23-year-old radio jockey Shubham Keche passed away on Thursday in Nagpur after suffering from a cardiac arrest during his live show. He was taken to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
The Radio Mirchi RJ used to host the show Hi Nagpur between 7 to 11 in the morning slot. Around 9.30 am Keche complained of acute chest pain to his office guard, who then took him to Hitech hospital with the help of a peon.
Hospital director Dr Sanjay Kriplani told The Times Of India , “He might have died 10-15 minutes before reaching the hospital. Since the reason for the death could not be ascertained, the body was sent to the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College (IGGMC) for post-mortem.”
Shubham is survived by his mother and sister. His father had passed away three years back and Shubham was the sole bread-winner of the family.
His last rites were conducted at Mokshadham Ghat in the evening.
