Basking in the success of his last release 12th Fail, it seems like happiness has once again come his way as Vikrant Massey welcomes his firstborn with his wife Sheetal Thakur. On Wednesday, 7 February, the couple took to social media and announced the same with a cute note, confirming that they have become parents to a baby boy.
And in an interview with GQ, the actor spoke about how he plans to raise his son Vardaan ‘in the current social climate’. He revealed, “I’m going to take each day as it comes. I want to be nimble and think on my feet, so I can adapt. The pace at which the world is changing is faster than most of us can comprehend, so there’s no point in planning ahead. The priority is to ensure my baby is healthy, and apart from that, I’m just soaking it all in.”
In a joint note shared on Instagram, the couple wrote, “07.02.2024 For we have become one. We are bursting with joy and love to announce the arrival of our son. Love, Sheetal and Vikrant ,” along with a folding hand emoji.
As soon as the news came out, fans took to the comment section and congratulated the couple. Many Bollywood celebs also extended their best wishes and congratulatory messages to Vikrant and Sheetal. Actress Dia Mirza wrote, “Besttttt news. All our love,” while Vaani Kapoor commented, “Congratulation.” Others like Raashi Khanna, Suniel Shetty, Surbhi Jyoti, Zoya Akhtar, Sonal Chauhan, and Manish Malhotra also congratulated the couple.

After dating each other for a very long time, Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur got married in a civil ceremony on 14 February 2022. Later, they also had a traditional wedding on 18 February 2022, in Himachal Pradesh.
