Delhi: Metro services to be partially hit due to Telangana protests

New Delhi: Two metro stations- Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhagwan - will remain shut from 9 am to 5 pm on Monday, in view of the protests and demonstrations by the Seemandhara and Telangana activists, an official said. AFP[/caption] “Due to security reasons, as advised by the Delhi Police, two metro stations will remain closed between 9 am and 5 pm due to a snap dharna likely to be organised by pro-Seemandhara and Telangana activists near VVIPs residences,” a Delhi metro official said. However, interchange and controlled exit would be allowed at the Central Secretariat station. IANS
