Some of them are visually impaired while others have mobility problems. Depending on their convenience, we will hire them,”  Swati Maliwal, advisor to the Chief Minister told  The Hindu . According to official figures, there are 35 acid attack survivors in the city. The services department has been asked to invite applications from acid attack victims and consider these on a priority basis for any suitable vacancies, current or future, which may be filled on contract or permanent basis.
