Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday praised his government’s rail budget, commending Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu for marking a pradigm shift from the usual announcement of new trains and coach factories to actual reform measures and a larger focus on technology upgradation. Prabhu, who announced a slew of measures including e-catering and enhanced security, was made Railway Minister a little over three months ago. Modi took to Twitter to express his views.
