The world may run out of petrol but it will never run out of money to buy outrageously expensive vehicles. Super cars use carbon fiber for a lighter body and consequently faster speeds, but a gold plating is only meant to turn heads. And surely heads have been turning in Pune where,
according an Indian Express report, real estate businessman Sachin Khese has got a Rs 2 lakh gold wrap treatment done on his black Jaguar XF. Screen grab from YouTube.[/caption] According to the report, the owner, who paid Rs 63 lakh for the car, got the gold treatment done on an astrologer’s advice against the colour black. “Three months back, during a visit to a car accessories shop, I said I intended to sell the car. That’s when the designer there asked me to try the gold wrap treatment. At first I wanted a steel finish wrap, but the shopkeeper convinced me to try the golden wrap,” the report quoted the 28-year-old businessman as saying. Although, Khese has not shared any pictures of the car on social media, the gold=plated Jaguar has created quite a buzz on Twitter. This is the man on Pune’s roads. He gold wrapped his Jaguar to ward off bad luck. DAYUM! That’s so SHINY!!!
