Renault seeks to enhance web experience, launches new global digital strategy in India

The Renault initiative attempts to allow customers accessing its website through mobile, tablet and desktop a smooth experience and providing them with all information they might want to know.

Renault seeks to enhance web experience, launches new global digital strategy in India

Indicating the growing importance it gives to the Indian market, automobile company Renault has joined hands with Nissan to offer customers a ‘best in class digital experience’. The move is based on the behaviour of potential buyers as people increasingly take to internet seeking information on various social media platforms before making a decision to purchase.[caption id=“attachment_769661” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![A Renault Pulse. Image courtesy Renault[/caption] Launched first in India, Renault’s new global strategy will be replicated in the firm’s operations across the globe. The Renault initiative attempts to allow customers accessing its website through mobile, tablet and desktop a smooth experience and providing them with all information they might want to know. “The new digital identity makes it extremely easy for a first time user to navigate through the various sections and get a comprehensive understanding of Renault’s offerings in India. Renault aims to empower its customers with the best web experience in the Industry, and has ingeniously innovated to create an exciting new platform which is easy to use,” a Renault release said. The Renault-Nissan Alliance digital initiative would allow the same data and services across different channels where only a single sign on is sufficient for authentication to allow an user navigate across websites, mobile apps, third-party websites. The login can also be made through social networks. The digital initiative would enable “multiple personalization schemes that adapt the content displayed to the behavior of the user on the site”, the release said. Hosted on the “cloud” with the main infrastructure located in multiple regions to augment agility and scalability, the firm said that in future multi-CDN architecture will be set up to optimize content distribution. Renault offers five models from its stable -– premium sedan Fluence, luxury SUV Koleos, premium compact car, Pulse, the SUV, Duster and the premium sedan, Scala – to the Indian market.
