Rajesh Exports secures jewellery orders worth Rs 653 cr from Singapore

New Delhi: Rajesh Exports said the company has secured a Rs 653-crore export order for gold and diamond studded jewellery from Singapore. The order is to be completed by 30 September this year, Rajesh Exports said in a regulatory filing. Its order book position as on 31 March this year was Rs 34,560 crore, it added. The order will be executed at the company’s manufacturing facility at Bangalore, which has an installed capacity to process 250 tonnes of jewellery per annum. With the acquisition of Valcambi, the world’s largest gold refinery at Switzerland, Rajesh Exports has total capacity to refine 2400 tonnes of precious metals per annum. The company has also presence in the retail segments and has 80 showrooms which sell its jewellery products under the brand name Shubh Jewellers.
