 The BJP, led by Narendra Modi, had a landslide victory in the General Elections of 2014. 26th May, 2014 has been declared as the date when Narendra Modi will be taking oath as the Prime Minister of India for the next five years.
The appointment letter issued by the President of India on 20th May 2014 congratulates Narendra Modi on his thumping victory. The letter mentions that Narendra Modi will be appointed as the Prime Minister of India as per Article 75 clause 1 of the Constitution of India. Here is the image of the letter.
