“There are pizzas from India that are now being sold in the UK, like paneer pizza, chicken tikka masala pizza and kheema do pyaza pizza,” he said, adding the great joy of taking a pizza international is the ease with which one can localise such an offering.
In India, 50% of the offerings at Domino’s stores are localised.
Jubilant Foodworks, the master franchise of Domino’s Pizza, has a network of 600 Domino’s Pizza Stores and controls 62 percent of the organised pizza market and 70 percent in the pizza home delivery segment in the country. Currently India is the third largest marketfor the US pizza chain globally by number of outlets, after the US (4,923) and the UK (720).
Jubilant FoodWorks plans to add at least 125 more Domino’s outlets next year.
