Atul Singh - The CEO and President of Coca-Cola India was recently given a new role in the global working of the iconic beverage manufacturer to Deputy President of the Pacific Group. In addition to Singh’s previous responsibilities in the subcontinent, he now has 11 new markets to deal with in Greater China and Korea region. Perhaps, the Atlanta-based company hopes Singh can replicate his successful run of 27 consecutive quarters of growth in the rest of Asia.

Ivan Menezes - Menezes worked his way up the Diageo (liquid) food chain for the past 16 years and was finally given the keys to company with his appointment as CEO from July 1, 2013. Apart from having played a vital role in convincing Vijay Mallya to allow Diageo a bigger slice of UB Group (the deal was valued at about $2billion), Menezes has been responsible for increasing the company’s presence in emerging markets like India, Vietnam, Turkey and Ethiopia.
Arti Sharma - International wealth management firm Northern Trust Corporation, based in Chicago, appointed Arti Sharma as head of Canada operations last month. Sharma was poached from Mercer, a global human resources consulting firm, after she expanded their custody practice. Northern Trust has 18 international locations in North America, the Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East and manages $846 billion in assets.

Sameer Suneja - The world’s third largest confectioners, Perfetti Van Melle, appointed former India head Sameer Suneja to lead the Rs18, 000-crore candy company from October 2013, making him the first non-Italian to hold the post. A veteran of the FMCG sector, Suneja was responsible for introducing India to Alpenliebe. He also takes a keen interest in the marketing side of operations.

Nitin Paranjpe - Earlier this year, HUL elevated Nitin Paranjpe to global head of parent company Unilever’s home care business after a highly profitable stint as India head that added more than Rs 10,000 crore to the company’s coffers. His journey with the company started in 1987 as a management trainee.
