Nexus Venture Partners IV raises $450 million, crosses $1 billion in assets

Nexus Venture Partners IV raises $450 million, crosses $1 billion in assets

Venture capital fund, Nexus Venture Partners has closed Nexus Ventures IV Ltd with committed capital of over $450 million, it announced today. Most of the Nexus IV capital commitment came from long-term Nexus investors who partnered with them in previous funds.  This brings total capital under management to over $1 billion. ![NEXUS](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/NEXUS.jpg) Nexus works with visionary entrepreneurs building market leading companies serving Indian or global markets.  Nexus investments cover a broad range of enterprise technology, consumer and business services. Nexus remains focused on seed and early stage companies and will invest in technology and data led businesses that are disrupting consumer retail, financial services, healthcare, and education markets, and in enterprise technologies that are enhancing productivity and lowering time to market. Leading India consumer services leaders that have teamed with Nexus include Craftsvilla, OLX, ShopClues, Snapdeal and Stayzilla.  Companies leveraging technology to provide superior business services include Delhivery, Netmagic, RoadRunnr and Suminter.  DimDim, Unicommerce and WhatsOnIndia represent technology companies formed in India to serve the Indian market. Nexus was the first fund to work with Indian technology start-ups that plan to address global markets.  Druva, Gluster, HelpShift, Pubmatic and Scalearc are Nexus partner companies that were conceived in India and are now global leaders. Nexus Venture Partners began operations in 2006 and has invested in over 60 companies since inception. Its primary goal is to back passionate entrepreneurs with capital and operating experience. Several of the portfolio companies are market leaders and have shown robust growth.
