AirAsia, which plans to launch a budget airline in India later this year, will aggressively expand its fleet and is looking to add at least 10 planes a year.

Chief Executive Tony Fernandes said AirAsia plans to aggressively grow its Indian affiliate's fleet by adding 10 planes a year and will focus operations on the country's under-utilised airports.
Recently Mittu Chandilya, was chosen to head AirAsia India operation. Chandiliya, 32, will be amongst the youngest CEO's to operate an airline in the country. Vikas Khot/ Forbes India
