Maggi is back and is sold out in minutes.
Five months after it was banned due to alleged presence of excessive lead content, Nestle India today relaunched its popular Maggi noodles brand in India in tie-up with e-commerce site Snapdeal.
However, if you want to buy it from Snapdeal, you will not get it because it is already fully sold out.
Maggi noodles was available on Snapdeal for Rs 144 for 12 packets.
Nestle said in the press release that most states do not have a ban on sale of the noodles.
“For states where specific directions are required, we are engaging with them,” Nestle India said in a BSE filing, wishing a Happy Diwali to all.
The company is presently manufacturing Maggi noodles at three locations - Nanjangud (Karnataka), Moga (Punjab) and Bicholim (Goa).
Nestle India said all samples of Maggi Noodles Masala have been cleared by three National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories-accredited labs as mandated by the Bombay High Court.
