L&T Infotech bags $10 million ERP deal from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd

L&T Infotech has bagged $10 million ERP deal to integrate the business functions of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) – a wholly-owned public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, with the specific mandate of fast track implementation of rail infrastructure projects. As per the contract, L&T Infotech will deploy SAP ERP to integrate business operations within RVNL. [caption id=“attachment_2095023” align=“alignleft” width=“300”]  Courtesy L&T Infotech[/caption] Under the terms, L&T will also deliver data centre hosting, collaboration and networking, including e-tendering, project management, finance, HR functions as well as user support and maintenance. It will also integrate RVNL’s 24 Project Implementing Units (PIUs) across India, including their corporate office at New Delhi.
