IGATE deploys VMware vCloud suite to build private cloud

IGATE has implemented VMware vCloud Suite to build a private cloud for its Center of Excellence (CoE) laboratory in Bangalore. VMware vCloud Suite will provide the management, automation, and orchestration required for the private cloud to help IGATE accelerate the delivery of new products and services to its large customer base in Europe and the United States. VMware vCloud Suite will enable IGATE to deliver complete application environments on top of its existing infrastructure, and provide automation and management capabilities to support software development lifecycles. VMware vCloud Suite has also enabled us to develop customised solutions for our customers that span multiple platforms and technologies. This will help their businesses become more agile and adaptable to changing market dynamics. VMware will play a key role in our IT strategy as we can leverage their technologies to perform customisation and automation to enable hybrid cloud models,” said Vijay Kumar Srivastava, Associate Director-IMS at IGATE.
