Holachef expands to Navi Mumbai, plans presence in 4 more cities

Holachef, Mumbai-based online curated food delivery service working with chefs for menu planning, food packing, storage, customer service, quality control, et al, has expanded its footprint to Navi Mumbai.  It has already started services in the area delivering in Nerul, CBD Belapur, Seawoods and Sanpada. [caption id=“attachment_2325996” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Saurabh Saxena, Founder & CEO, Holachef[/caption] From June 24 (today), services will start in other areas in Navi Mumbai such as  Ghansoli, Kopar Khairane, Millennium Business Park, Mahape, Vashi and Turbhe. Besides Mumbai, Holachef, meaning Hello Chef, has its services in Pune too, where its main consumers are students and the IT employees. The business has been growing steadily with daily deliveries of 500+ meals across the city. The company plans to expand its presence in Delhi next, followed by Hyderabad and one more city (not decided yet) and Bengaluru. Saurabh Saxena, Founder and CEO, says that with the start-up growing ‘steadily’ since the time of launch in September 2014, the company is available in 100+ PIN codes in Mumbai, and a handful of PIN codes in and around Powai. “Mumbai and Pune are very different geographically and culturally,” he says. From 2000 orders per month in 2014, Holachef has grown to 1,00,000 orders per month in 2016, said Saxena.  The average order price is Rs 310. With over 1 lakh unique consumer base collectively in Mumbai and Pune, Holachef on an average receives maximum orders from Lower Parel, followed by Powai in Mumbai and Balewadi in Pune. The company was founded by two IIT-ians Saurabh Saxena and his classmate Anil Geira. The start-up has been built on one central kitchen in Mumbai and another in Pune.
