Suspended from work over sexual harassment allegations, 32-year-old Swaroop Raj, executive of the multinational firm, Genpact committed suicide on Wednesday evening at his flat in Noida. He was suspended from work pending probe into the allegations. His wife Kriti got the suicide note written by Raj who then informed the police.

Nishank Sharma, Circle Officer, Noida police told Firstpost that police investigations are on. But the deceased’s family has yet to lodge an FIR, he said. Pic courtesy: Facebook[/caption] According to media reports, in the suicide note the deceased has said that though the allegations are baseless, he feared the “entire Genpact will know about it, hence I do not have the courage to face anyone.” Raj joined Genpact in 2007. He and his wife, Kriti worked for the same firm. Firstpost tried to contact Genpact offices at Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. No one was willing to comment on the case.
