This plan includes several new policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing energy sustainability and supporting both households and industries. Here’s a breakdown of the key announcements in the energy sector:

1. A new policy document has been introduced to outline clear pathways for India’s energy future. This document will guide the India’s transition to more sustainable and secure energy sources, focusing on reducing dependency on non-renewable resources.

3. A new Pump Storage Policy has been announced to boost the use of pump storage systems. These systems are essential for managing the supply and demand of electricity by storing energy during periods of low demand and releasing it during peak times.

4. The government is investing in newer nuclear technologies to enhance energy production. This includes the development of advanced nuclear reactors that are more efficient and safer, contributing to a cleaner energy mix.

5. To improve efficiency in coal-based power generation, the budget includes plans to set up 800 MW Advanced Ultra Super Critical (AUSC) thermal power plants. These plants will use cutting-edge technology to generate electricity more efficiently and with reduced emissions.
