Aam Aadmi Party Donations from the top 15 states:

The Aam Admi Party’s tumultuous seven-week tenure in New Delhi might have left doubts about its capacity to become a formidable force to reckon with, but come general elections time, AAP has come back in the reckoning with a bang. Clearly, no one can rule AAP out.
Donations seem to be pouring in from different parts of India for AAP.If you look at the chart above, you’ll be surprised to find that the largest share of donations comes from Maharashtra, not Delhi (AAP’s homeground). In addition, donations from five states – Maharastra, Dehi (NCR), Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Haryana.
So far, the party has garnered around Rs 10.6 crore in donations from across India, of which 7.7 crore (73%) is accounted for by the top five states making donations.
According to the data available on the party’s website offering financial details , Maharashtra tops the donation chart with over Rs 2.4 crore of funds from around 900 people.
Delhi comes next, accounting for 20 percent of the donations.As of March 22, the party received funds from around 7, 500 donors totalling Rs 2.13 crore from Delhi.Third on the list is UP with over Rs 1.7 crore from around 7,100 people, followed by Karnataka (Rs 1.1 crore from nearly 5,800 donors).
And Haryana rounds up the top five funding states, with donations of Rs about 63 lakh so far from 3,466 donors.
