The Aam Aadmi Party has released its manifesto for the upcoming elections. The manifesto has six main sections: swaraj; economy and ecology; national security; sports, culture and media; social justice; and education and health. The Aam Aadmi Party has released its manifesto for the upcoming elections.

The manifesto has six main sections: swaraj; economy and ecology; national security; sports, culture and media; social justice; and education and health.

Some of the main economic highlights include:

  • To extend the minimum support price to 25 crops

  • To strictly implement minimum wages

  • To take steps to eliminate crony capitalism

  • To curb use of black money in real estate

  • To provide right to healthcare and education for all Indians

  • To introduce transparency in taxation policy

  • To invest in infrastructure in Tier II and Tier III cities and smaller towns

  • To make a concerted push for agricultural and small-scale industries

  • To promote shift towards renewable resources

  • To end contractual employment for jobs that require work to be done throughout the year. (Examples include doctors, nurses, teachers,etc.)

  • To encourage commercial exploitation of natural resources through a royalty and revenue sharing agreement with local communities
