New Delhi: Eicher Motors Thursday reported a 58.61 percent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 376.29 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.

The company had posted a net profit after taxes and profit of joint ventures of Rs 237.23 crore for the same period a year ago, Eicher Motors said in a filing to BSE.

Consolidated total income from operations stood at Rs 1,555.69 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 1095.89 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Shares of Eicher Motors today closed at Rs 21,075.20 per scrip on BSE, up 3.64 percent from its previous close
