The objective of this serial is to make rural people aware of various welfare schemes like MNREGA, mid-day meal, educational loans, property rights of women, digitisation of land records, rural health schemes, promotion of non- conventional sources of energy run by the government which fail to benefit them because of menace of middlemen and touts, the statement added.

With the next general elections fast approaching the government has also launched a high intensity ‘Bharat Nirman’ campaign to publicise its policies and the benefits they have brought to the people.
