Cube26 ties up with IIIT-Hyderabad to initiate research on cognitive intelligence

Cube26, a technology start-up, has entered into a partnership with IIIT-Hyderabad to initiate research on cognitive intelligence. The year-long project will select two to three postgraduate and five to six undergraduate students of IIIT-Hyderabad, to strengthen the data science capabilities of Cube26. The research work will also be considered as the theses for the IIIT-Hyderabad students. We envision such designs and developments in the course of our collaboration.” “Cognitive computing technology has the potential to augment our reasoning capabilities and empower us to make better informed real-time decisions. We believe India has a huge potential to contribute to global technology innovation with R&D and we are happy to contribute in our small way. In 2016, smart machines and cognitive systems will form the foundation for enhancing speed of access to information and personalizing customer experiences,” he further added. Vasudeva Varma, Professor and Dean (Research), IIT-Hyderabad said, “This is a great opportunity for our students to work on a niche subject like cognitive intelligence. Cognitive intelligence is an untapped sector in India and this research will be beneficial to both Cube26 and our students.”
