A SpiceJet flight to Kabul reportedly had a close shave with a rocket landing close to the runway.
SpiceJet CEO Sanjiv Kapoor tweeted yesterday that a rocket aimed at a military target landed near the runway.
However, he said that there had been no damage to the aircraft, crew or passengers.

The attack affected operations at the airport with the runway being shut down and fuelling facilities being sealed off. The shutdown meant that the flight which was scheduled to leave at 11:40 am local time left at 3 pm instead, reported the Times of India.

Kapoor later tweeted after the aircraft had taken off and was headed towards Delhi.
A DNA report said that five Afghan helicopters that were parked at the airport were damaged in the attack.
