Amazon.in seems to have tied up with Bharat Petroleum and is using BPCL’s In & Out range of convenience stores located at fuel outlets in Mumbai and Delhi. Amazon customers can pick up orders from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM in Mumbai and from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM in Delhi.

Only ‘Fulfilled by Amazon’ items, which are shipped from Amazon warehouses and use Amazon Transportation Services, Amazon’s fully owned delivery/courier service in India can be sourced using the new pickup service. And there’s a size limit too.

According to details on Amazon.in , items having a girth (length + width + height) less than 65cm and any one side not exceeding 25cm can be delivered to the pickup store.

Delivery rates are the same as that on normal Amazon.in deliveries, though the single-day delivery option is not on offer.

To ensure identification, shoppers will have to provide valid photo identification – mostly standard Indian government identification such as passports, PAN card, driving license, Aadhar card, Voters ID card, etc, that matches the name selected during checkout.
